University of Delhi’s Faculty of Law Introduces Five-Year Integrated Law Courses from 2023-2024 Academic Year

New Delhi, August 5, 2023 – In a significant development, the Faculty of Law at the University of Delhi has announced the introduction of Five-Year Integrated Law Courses for the academic year 2023-2024. The new courses, namely B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) have received approval from the Bar Council of India and are set to provide aspiring law students with a comprehensive legal education.

The Bar Council of India, in a letter dated July 26, 2023, has granted its formal approval for the commencement of these integrated law courses. The program is structured to offer 60 seats each for B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) students, demonstrating the commitment of the Faculty of Law to accommodate a diverse range of students with a passion for legal studies.

Admission to these integrated law courses will be determined based on the merit of candidates’ results in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) UG 2023. This approach ensures that students admitted into the program possess a high level of aptitude and knowledge, setting the stage for a rigorous and intellectually stimulating learning experience.

The classes for both B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) will be held at the prestigious Faculty of Law, located at Kanad Bhawan in the North Campus of the University of Delhi.
