Empowering Environmental Advocacy: Tatva-Neeti Policy-Making Competition Register Yourself Now !!

About the Event

In commemoration of International Forest Day and World Water Day, Tatva, the esteemed eco club of Ramanujan College, is thrilled to announce an invigorating opportunity for students to engage in environmental stewardship – the Tatva-Neeti policy-making competition. With a focus on “Water and Water Resource Management in Urban Areas,” this competition seeks to inspire innovative solutions and foster awareness about sustainable water management practices. As part of Tatva-Vadhaan, an environmental awareness event, Tatva-Neeti aims to spark meaningful conversations and inspire actionable change.

Tatva-Neeti is more than just a competition; it’s a call to action for students to become catalysts for change in their communities. By participating in Tatva-Neeti, students have the opportunity to contribute to the discourse on sustainable water management and shape the future of environmental policy.

Guidelines

  • Theme: Tatva-Neeti is a policy making competition focused on solving the issues of ‘Water and Water Resource Management in Urban Areas’. Participants are required to frame effective and realistic policy solutions for institutional and individual levels. 
  • Rounds: Tatva-Neeti unfolds in two rounds; in the first round, participants craft and submit their presentations. Successful entrants will advance to the final round, held offline at Ghalib Auditorium on March 22nd. 
  • Entries: Participants must keep their presentation concise and clear, adhering to a 10-minute time-frame and  5-8 slides limit. While also ensuring that the presentation provides actionable policy changes at institutional levels and practical action plans for individual engagement.

Registration

  • Participants can compete individually or in teams of up to two members.
  • All students of UG and PG programs, studying at University of Delhi are eligible and welcome to participate in this exciting challenge.
  • Inter-college teams are welcome, fostering collaboration and diverse perspectives.
  • All participants are required to register themselves and submit their presentation online through Unstop.com by March 20th 11:59 PM to be considered for the competition. 
  • Participants must get themselves registered and submit their presentations before 20th March 11:59 PM. After which, the submission and registration window will close permanently. 
  • Participants must submit their presentations through the submission window provided on Unstop.com and should make sure to do so before the deadline.

Prize

The best policy makers will receive a cash prize of ₹1,000, with additional prizes for the 1st and 2nd runners-up. Every participant will be awarded a participation certificate, recognizing their commitment to environmental advocacy.
