About Shri Ram College of Commerce:
Shri Ram College of Commerce or SRCC is India’s premier Higher Education Institution in the fields of commerce, economics and business management. About the Bid-O-Mania 2.0:
The Computers and Mathematics Society of SRCC presents the Bid-O-Mania 2.0 — A Strategy Based Auction Simulation Competition, where wits clash against wallets, and cunning trumps cash in an auction battle. Every bid is a gamble, every alliance a double-edged sword, and only one strategist will conquer the mountain of treasures!
Eligibility for Bid-O-Mania 2.0 :
- Students from any college can participate.
- Undergraduate and postgraduate students can apply.
Procedure of the Competition:
Round 1: Preliminary —12 Feb 24, 12:00 PM IST
- Online Quiz on Unstop to test the participants of their skills in logic and problem solving.
- Topics for the quiz will include math and puzzles, algebra, trigonometry, arithmetic etc.
- Assessment Duration of quiz is 20 minutes.
- There will be total 15 questions asked.
- There is no negative marking for this.
Duration:
- Start Date: 12 Feb 24, 12:00 PM IST
- End Date: 13 Feb 24, 11:59 PM IST
Guidelines:
- You can attempt the assessment anytime between the provided assessment window.
- Please ensure that you attempt the assessment in one sitting as once you start the assessment, the timer won’t stop.
- You will have to finish the assessment on or before 13 Feb 24, 11:59 PM IST. To get the complete assessment duration, you need to start the assessment latest by 13 Feb 24, 11:39 PM IST. Otherwise, you’ll get less time to complete the assessment.
Marking:
Each participant’s ranking will be determined based on the accuracy of their answers. If two participants achieve the same score, the one who completes the assessment in the least amount of time will be ranked higher.
Instructions:
- You can access the assessment from the opportunity page itself where you registered.
- You’ll see a button in the respective round if you’ve registered to initiate the assessment.
- Only the person who registered will be able to take the assessment. In case of team registration, the team leader who registered the team will be able to take the assessment.
- You’ll be able to browse through the questions.
- You’ll have to submit answers/code/solutions to all the questions individually.
- While you are taking the assessment, your answers/code/solutions and time of their submission are also tracked by the system question-wise.
- You’ll be able to modify your answers during the assessment.
- Any participant resorting to unfair practices will be directly disqualified from the challenge.
- All decisions in the matter of eligibility, authenticity & final judgment will be with Unstop and the opportunity organizer.
Round 2: Intermediate— 15 Feb 24, 06:30 PM IST
This is an online auction round. This is your chance to unlock hidden strengths and discover the depths of your resilience. This will be held on Unstop.

Round 3: Final round—19 Feb 24, 02:00 PM IST
- This is offline Auction round held at SRCC Campus.
- You navigated the treacherous waters of round two, leaving a wake of doubt in your dust. Now, prepare to leave the digital waves and step onto the shores of SRCC campus!
- An exclusive, live auction experience awaits the chosen few, where cunning meets fortune and destiny takes a daring leap.
- This round will be a strategy based auction simulation round.

- End Date: 19 Feb 24, 04:00 PM IST

Guidelines:
- Team Size: 2-3 members.
- Eligibility: Undergraduate, Postgraduate.
- Cross-college teams are allowed.
- In case of any dispute, the decision of the organisers shall be binding.
- No limit on the number of participants from each college.
- A person can register as part of only one team for one event. Modification of team post registration will not be allowed.
- The format, structure, and prize money of events are subject to change before the actual beginning of the event.
