About NSS Gargi College:

The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Gargi College works under the central sector scheme of the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. It aims to inculcate the spirit of selfless service and to spread the message of service before self. NSS Gargi Works with the motto of “Not me but you”. It provides various interesting opportunities for the students through various events, including workshops, donation drives, social services, Fest ‘Zistatva’, etc.

About the Event:

The NSS unit of Gargi, University of Delhi, presents an Inter-college Debate Competition ‘GOONJ’ for debate enthusiasts.

Eligibility:

• Open to all Colleges in Delhi-NCR.

Procedure of the Competition:

• The Debate will be held in a conventional style.
• The topic will be given on the spot.
• A team of 4-5 members can participate in this competition.

The competition will consist of two rounds. The Preliminary round for the Online Group Discussion will be held as an elimination round on September 23, 2023, starting at 6:00 PM. Each group will have a time limit of 10-15 minutes. The final round of the Debate competition will take place offline on September 25, 2023, at 10:00 AM.
