About NITI-NIRMAAN

La Politique, the Department of Political Science of Kirori Mal College brings to you the much-awaited flagship event ‘NITI-NIRMAAN’, the policy proposal contest under the aegis of the annual fest POLITICANA ’24. The theme for this year’s contest revolves around “Innovation in political funding/electoral funding in view of recent SC verdict”.
Guidelines for the Competition:
- Participants must develop policies targeting the pressing need for innovative solutions in political funding.
- They should address the current challenges and propose strategies for tackling them.
- The indicators of accuracy, fairness and impartiality ought to be stressed upon in this context.
- Theme: “Innovation in Political Funding Beyond the SC Verdict”
- Participants will be given a time limit of 7 minutes for pitching in their policy.
- The medium for the same may either be English or Hindi.
- Participants may supplement their proposal with a PowerPoint Presentation.
- It is mandatory for the participants to submit a hardcopy of the Executive Summary of 2 pages that would contain their policy briefing addressed to the judges on the day of the event.
