About the Event
This March 3rd, as the world celebrates its Wildlife Day, Earthlings (the wildlife society of Hindu College) will be celebrating photography as an art form that has the potential to capture the beauty and brutality of the wild. Earthlings, the wildlife society of Hindu College is looking for the most awesome nature photos for a photography competition on this awe-inspiring occasion of the World Wildlife Day.
GUIDELINES
- All entries must be Wildlife photographs, relevant to the theme ‘Shots Of The Wild’. Entries that do not match the theme will be disqualified.
- Plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
- To submit, photographers must fill the Google Form provided and upload their entry in the form. The images should be in JPG, PNG and PDF formats only and no larger than 100 MB.
- The photos will be judged based on the level of creativity, kinds of composition, relevance to the theme, and the overall impact and influence on the viewers.
- Deadline to submit entries is March 11th 2024, 11:59 PM.
- All photographers – new and old, subtle and bold – are welcome to participate.
- The competition is open to students of both, colleges affiliated with University of Delhi and colleges that are not.
- With exciting prizes and special features on the society’s Instagram account and the society’s annual magazine.
- This competition is an amazing opportunity for all aspiring photographers to showcase their talent and passion for the wild.
Prizes
- Three of the most inspiring photos will be picked as winners, and the winners will get 1st Place, 2nd Place and Consolation Prize accordingly.
- Participation Certificate will be given to all the winners and the participants.
- The winners will receive Eco Friendly Tote Bags, Shout-out on the society’s social media handles and special feature in the annual wildlife magazine, Project Kudrat Vol. III.

- This competition accepts paid entries only, so an entry fee of ₹60 is to be paid while submitting the form and the screenshot for the same has to be uploaded as well.
