Financial Support Scheme by Delhi University for its students

University of Delhi has launched Financial Support Scheme for its students. Apply before 31st Jan.

About the Financial Support Scheme

Recently Delhi University launched a financial support scheme for students of Delhi University. This scheme will be governed and implemented by the Office of the Dean Students’ Welfare. This scheme aims to support those students who come from financially weak backgrounds. This scheme is open for all students irrespective of caste, sex, or religion.

Eligibility for Financial Support Scheme

All full time Bonafide students studying at Delhi University in its institutes and departments are eligible to apply for the scheme if they fall into any category mentioned below. UG/PG students admitted in the college are not eligible to apply for the scheme.

Category I- Students whose family income is less than 4 Lakh belongs to the category I and such students are eligible for a fee waiver upto 100%

Category II- Students whose family income is 4 Lakh to 8 Lakh belong to category II and such students are eligible for a fee waiver of up to 50%.

Note- Examination fee and hostel fee is not included in the fee waiver.

Required Documents for Financial Support Scheme

The following documents must be submitted along with the application form

  1. Income Certificate issued by Competent authority
  2. Copies of Income Tax Return (ITR), wherever applicable
  3. Copies of mark sheet of the last exam passed
  4. Copy of bonafide student certificate in Degree/Postgraduate degree course
  5. Copy of Fee Receipt mentioning the amount under different heads separately.
  6. Copy of Bank Pass Book showing the student’s name, Account number, IFSC code and Photograph pasted at the appropriate place.

Last date of applications for financial support scheme

Last date of submission of applications form for financial support scheme is 31/01/2023 upto 4:00 PM.

  1. sol du is failing and giving absent in marksheet of students and without accepting their wrong doings charging extra money for reappearing in exams ohh sorry ye to charity ke liye paisa ikkatha krne ka trika hai good news.
