University of Delhi’s Vice Chancellor Internship Scheme is inviting applications from bonafide regular students of the university for their upcoming Summer Internship program. The program is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students, except for first-year or Semester II students. The internship will be for a flexible 15-20 hours per week, with a stipend of Rs. 10,000 per month.
Interested candidates must note that students who have already availed of the VCIS in 2022 are not eligible to apply for the VCIS Summer Internship 2023. The internship period will not exceed two months under any circumstances, tentatively scheduled for June-July 2023.
Applicants must upload a ‘Letter of Recommendation’ from their Principal/Head of the Department/Institution/College/Centres on the letterhead (duly stamped) along with the registration form. Candidates failing to do so will face rejection of their application. Students can refer to Annexure C in the VCIS booklet for more details on the letter of recommendation. Upon completion of the internship, candidates will receive a certificate from the Dean of Students’ Welfare subject to the appraisal report from the concerned employing Department/Centre/Institute. During the interview for the internship, candidates must bring the Letter of Recommendation from their Principal/Head of the Department/Institution/College/Centres on the letterhead (duly stamped). The selection process will be strictly based on the interview and letter of recommendation.
