Concerning the Delhi Arbitration Center (DAC)
One of India’s first institutions, the Delhi Arbitration Center (DAC), offers institutional Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services, such as domestic and international commercial arbitration, mediation, and negotiation, as well as running ADR training courses. Any method of resolving conflicts outside of court is referred to as alternative dispute resolution (ADR). Arbitration, mediation, bargaining, and conciliation are common forms of ADR. The four techniques of dispute settlement and restitution mentioned above are commonly referred to as alternative dispute resolution because they are typically seen as an alternative to litigation. At the courts, there are a growing number of cases that need to be settled. A further problem for litigants is the ongoing growth in the price of litigation and the associated delays. All of this has led to an increase in the use of ADR techniques.
