Ahlawat & Associates, a leading law firm in India, is inviting applications from final-year law students for an assessment internship. The firm is seeking interns with a strong interest in litigation practice and prior experience with court internships.
To be eligible for the internship, candidates must be currently pursuing their studies in the 3rd year of a three-year degree course or in their final year of a five-year degree course or have recently completed their LLB course from any recognized college/law school/university.
As part of their responsibilities, interns will be required to conduct legal and case law research and prepare comprehensive reports on assigned issues. They will also be responsible for assisting senior attorneys with court-related documents and attending court proceedings. Additionally, interns will assist in drafting legal documents such as plaints, preparing briefs, and vetting agreements.
The internship will be conducted in-person at the firm’s office in New Delhi. The minimum duration of the internship is one month, and based on performance, it may be extended.
