India celebrates Republic Day on January 26 every year. On January 26, 1950, India became a republic and the adoption of its constitution is commemorated on this day.
Since then, the day has been observed as Republic Day, popularly known as “Gantanatra Diwas,” and this year marks India’s 74th Republic Day. Each year, the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force take part in a lavish Republic Day parade on New Delhi’s Rajpath (now known as Kartavya Path).
The Government of India has launched an online Invitation Management Portal (www.aamantran.mod.gov.in) to book Republic Day Parade 2023 tickets where you can get the e-vites for the grand Republic Day parade as the national capital and the people of India prepare to celebrate Republic Day 2023 on January 26.
