About the course ;

Public administration is a field in which leaders serve communities to advance the common Good and effect positive change. Public administration professionals are equipped with skills to manage at all levels of government (local, state, and federal) as well as nonprofit organizations.
This course is prepared to acquaint the learners with the evolution, conceptual developments and current status of the discipline. After completing the course, the students will be able to acquire the knowledge of the basic principles of an organization, various approaches used in studying the discipline of Public Administration and also about the changes and impacts of globalization, privatization and application of information technology etc. on the structure and functioning of public administrative systems in general.

Administration of the course ;

This course is taken by Prof Ajmer Singh Malik, who is the ice Chancellor Chaudhary Devi Lal University Sirsa (Haryana).  He is former Chairperson of the Department of Public Administration (2009-2012) and Coordinator, UGC’s Special Assistance Program (SAP) in between 2012-2015. He is the Chief Editor of the Public Affairs & Governance – interdisciplinary journal in the field of social sciences and is also Coordinator of Massive Open Online Course on State and Local Governance Above all; he has a rich and varied experience of 30 years of teaching, research and extension work. He has supervised 19 Ph. D students for their degree and published two books and 30 research papers in national and international journals of repute.

Course certificate ;

Host Institution and National Coordinator will issue the credit transfer certificate to the learner who will participate in weekly quizzes, write and submit the assignments and appear in final examination in successful manner.

ALTHOUGH THE CURSE IS FREE BUT AT THE END THERE WILL BE FEES {rs.1000/-} FOR YOUR FINAL EXAMINATION, WHICH WILL GIVE YOU YOUR DIPLOMA IN THE COURSE WITH CERTIFICATION.
